Philosophy of Counseling
As a counselor, my goal is to provide a safe, relaxing, and nonjudgmental environment that allows clients to feel comfortable and begin their healing journey. I aim to assist clients in working through challenges in their lives, and to be able to develop solutions, goals, coping skills, and other helpful tools to begin the healing process. I will utilize the appropriate therapeutic tools for clients, including: talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, solution-focused counseling techniques, and/or neurofeedback therapy. I believe every client should be treated as a unique individual with compassion, kindness, and understanding to help facilitate growth and development so that they may attain their goals and reach their full potential.
