Philosophy of Counseling
I believe that Counseling is a very personal decision that most clients don’t come to lightly. My goal is to provide a safe, trusting and healthy environment for each client. My purpose it to help clients walk through the concerns that they are facing, by helping identify issues, goals and solutions. As a talk therapist I have experience in several different modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with a focus on Individual and Couples Counseling. I also have experience in Play, Art and Sand tray Therapy working specifically with children. While my experience is in working with adults and children, my primary focus and passion has been working with children. I have dealt with Grief and Loss, Trauma, Addiction and Play Therapy. I look forward to incorporating Neurotherapy into my practice. I have been fortunate enough to experience Neurotherapy, as a client and as a therapist. I have seen firsthand the impact it can have on a life and helping individuals function as our best selves. Being able to now incorporate Psychotherapy with Neurotherapy will allow me to works towards achieving each individuals maximum potential.
