Individual Therapy

Individual therapy involves one child or adult and one therapist. Individual therapy session are 45 to 50 minutes in duration and the interval between sessions is determined by the client and therapist. The overall length of treatment is determined by client goals. Various styles of therapy and methods are utilized by the therapist, depending on the issues being addressed within the session; i.e. cognitive-behavioral, family systems and emotional-focused therapy. Biofeedback/ neurotherapy can be paired with psychotherapy to enhance the client outcomes and is highly recommended.

Marital/Family Therapy

Marital/Family therapy involves working with a couple or family and is usually a 45 to 50-minute session occurring biweekly. Various styles of therapy and methods are utilized by the therapist, depending on the issues being addressed within the session; i.e. cognitive-behavioral, family systems and emotional-focused therapy.

  • Pre-marital/ Marital Counseling
  • Parenting/ Step-Parenting
  • Relationship Therapy
  • Grief & Loss
  • Divorce
  • Life Adjustment Issues
